Is... anytime. Well, anytime if the product will meet your needs for the foreseeable future. I'm not that impressed with the Core 2 Duo processors, they offer 5% to 10% more performance.

If you are tired of your system being bogged down by all those anti-spyware, firewall and anti-virus applications there is yet another solution for what is mostly a Windows world.

Microsoft not a few days ago released a new build of Vista RC1, only this one, you will find has a special feature. Not only will it break your previous installation, it may BSOD (blue screen of death) on you during the restoration process.

First build a large overpriced console with two versions, one lacking the much required HDMI out and wireless connectivity. Then charge nearly $1,000 for the first bundle and not let people just buy the console. To top things off charge between $80 and $100 for games.

This is either true or it is not, I don't know which. But what we have here is a message from a mysterious person named "Mike" from Nintendos marketing department that claims "that naming the Wii is a bad thing for Nintendos reputation".

The MusicGremlin WiFi MP3 player allows you do download music directly to the device using their service or connect to other MusicGremlin users. It has a color screen and four way navigation pad with a center select button. More details on the device are not yet available.
ExtremeTech has a very nice article on the features of Vista and its rewritten Kernel. It is not another Windows ME. It is better, faster (on the right system), stronger, it's the $6 million operating system. Do I give them too much credit, maybe.
This one is kind of cool. What we have here is a 1GB flash memory drive modled after HAL 9000 from 2001 A Space Odyessy. It will set you back $70 which is a hefty price tag but hey, this is a HAL memory core unit we are talking about here (okay, not really).
A PCMag insider report has 55 screenshots of the latest build of Vista. Microsoft says it is feature complete and two new features include the Sidebar (I'd turn that off) and the Welcome Center (something else I would turn off) but it still looks very cool.
Times Sqaure has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. Apparently all those billboards over Times Square are run by Windows. A giant Windows error message appeared on a two story billboard for all to see.
It seems that hackers have gotten bored with annoying the millions and millions and millions of Windows users out there and have switched targets. Now Mac OSX is in their sights. A new worm targeting a bluetooth vulnerability has been discovered.
This person says "OSX sucks the least" out of using several different operating systems. His list of grievances against OSX include no maximize button, the application remains running when you hit the "x" button and command tab doesn't work well. He is also no fan of Safari.
Sony fails with the Walkman Bean, after being on the market for a measly six months, Sony has pulled the Bean from the market.
Just as the title says. Freeware applications for OSX, enjoy.
I am not joking. Windows XP is a perfectly safe and secure operating system provided you aren't a dead head PC user.

That's right. The PS3 has been delayed until at least September but there are those in the industry who think that it may not launch this year at all.
This is a good one. EA is going to charge you $2 if you want to play in the online mode in Fight Night 3 for the PSP. It's either pay them the $2 or provide them with some personal information that they are going to use any way they want, no joke.
I'm certainly not going to win any points for this post but it has been a while since I posted anything here. I figured it was time that I posted something, anything.

Datel has created a 4GB HDD/media player combo unit for the Nintendo DS. It appears to plug into either the DS or GBA slot and seems to be a good fit for the original DS. I have no idea how it would fair on the DS Lite.
This site has some cool command line utilities that are built right into Windows 2000, XP, Pro/Home though a good deal of the advanced ones like taskkill and tasklist are for XP Pro only.
No optical illusions here. This is a true 3D display that creates plasma in open air using lasers, the lasers can produce 100 dots per second. Very cool. I'll wait for one that can do full 3D high def color images.
This site has lots and lots of simply gorgeous wallpaper, check it out.
Pictures of the full screen iPod. I have no idea where it came from but there it is.
The DS Lite will be launching in three colors, White, Ice Blue and Enamel Navy. At least in Japan anyway, I don't know if these colors will be available in the States on launch day.
Google is offering a new tool that will transfer data from one computer to another but in order to use it you must allow them to store the material for up to a month.
